Nanne Springer

Originally Nanne Springer grew up in the forest in the green heart of Germany called Thüringer Wald. When she moved to Canada in 2010 her decision to follow the art of photography quickly anchored itself in two different but interrelated fields. On the one hand to collaborate with fellow artists through the medium of analogue photography – and on the other hand the world of lines and light through her architectural photography.

Nanne et Harry se sont rencontré en 2018 via instagram et collabore depuis sur différents proojet.

STEVE

Nanne et Harry se lance dans la création du personnage de STEVE lors d’une résidence à Rouen Noranda.

Accompagné de petit textes, les artistes ont construit la vie d’un homme tout à Fait Banal.

Steve on his way to work. In his old beetle. Always in rush hour. Waiting.
Smoking. Waiting.
He forgot his wallet. He didn’t want to eat that day anyhow. But he does miss his new business cards he just slipped in there. Unfortunately with a misprinted phone number. Who cares. He won’t quit his day job anyway. He will wait here again tomorrow.
Smoking. Waiting.
Maybe he will have his wallet then.

Dans le cadre du Festival MaiPoils en 2019, Harry créa le Monstre »SAM ».

Fait de laine et de fourrures recyclé , ce monstre parcouru les rue et les métro de Montréal pendant plusieurs heures.
